Here we go.... Jumping into more of your questions and tackling them with honest, transparent answers!
1. What do you keep in your purse?
Haha! I need to actually clean my purse, so thanks for the reminder! I have essential oils in my purse, peppermint beadlets, OnGuard supplements, Active Skin Repair, OnGuard Sanitizing spray, and chapstick :)
2. Castor Oil Packs: I’m confused as to how to use the plastic. Is the oil on the skin and plastic over it or do you wrap the cloth so it’s no on the skin?
You soak a piece of cotton cloth or flannel in castor oil and apply that to desired area, usually over the liver. You then wrap plastic over it and apply heat. Hot water bottles work great for this! Just lay it over the plastic. You can also do a castor oil pack before getting into the sauna and using the heat of the sauna to activate it. Just be sure to take a bind before and drink a good green drink afterward to help bind and remove the toxins that will be released. Also flush your body with a lot of water that day.
3. Do you have an at home distiller?
No we don’t. We have a whole house system which uses UV to kill bacterias and a reverse osmosis which further cleans and filters the water, but also remineralizes it. I would love to get a travel or countertop distiller, though! Drinking distilled water is ideal when sick and I’d love to have that easily available if and when needed.
4. What water filtration system do you have at home?
We have the Aquasana whole house water filtration system + under sink reverse osmosis system with minerlizer.
5. Do you have a Berkey?
We do! It is important to test your water and see if the Berkey will filter out everything you need filtered out. We keep our Berkey stored away to use if we ever need to filter water, like if our well breaks, etc.
6. For Mineralization - I use Cellcore CT minerals, but for someone on a small budget and wants to switch to distilled water, what would you recommend? Anything on Amazon that I can order?
7. For EMF - Is there a product for watches?
They have been trying to innovate one, but it’s difficult because of how the watch gets placed on the skin - all the more reason to avoid using EMF watches because of how much radiation goes straight into the skin. If you have airpods and/or an Iphone, I recommend Waveblock!! I also recommend Therasage household products to help minimize the EMF exposure for your family in your home.
8. Infrared Sauna Use:
Are there still benefits when going low and slow? YES! Anytime is good for you body in the sauna. Try taking binders before you get in and drink a good green drink and electrolyte after. Hopefully this helps you to work your way up.
9. Is the blanket the same as a sit in sauna?
Yes and no. The blanket is one you climb into and relax, let the sauna and your body do the work. A sit in sauna allows you the options to sit fully inside, including your head, or to keep your head out. It also gives you the option to keep your arms in or out which allows you to work while you’re in the sauna. The blanket is my favorite, the sit in is my husband’s favorite.
10. Does the sauna work the same as a PEMF mat?
No. Both saunas I recommend have infrared and so does the PEMF mat; however, a PEMF mat uses the same frequency as our body’s need, as the earth uses. A PEMF mat is perfect for re-grounding your body. Many notice relaxation, more focus, clarity, less fatigue, etc from regular PEMF usage.
Thank you for asking so many WONDERFUL questions! I will have one more blog post wrapping a few more questions next week. Stay tuned!
With love,
Kristy
